👉Some explanation
fallopian tubes ,
The Fallopian tubes, also known as uterine tubes, salpinges (singular salpinx), or oviducts, are tubes that stretch from the ovaries to the uterus, in the human female reproductive system. In other mammals they are called oviducts. A fertilized egg passes through the Fallopian tubes from the ovaries to the uterus.
fertilization,
Fertilisation or fertilization, also known as generative fertilisation, syngamy and impregnation, is the fusion of gametes to give rise to a new individual organism or offspring and initiate its development.
What is the fertilization?
fertilization, union of a sperm nucleus, of paternal origin, with an egg nucleus, of maternal origin, to form the primary nucleus of an embryo. The most primitive form of fertilization, found in microorganisms and protozoans, consists of an exchange of genetic material between two cells.
How does fertilization occur?
A pregnancy starts with fertilization, when a woman’s egg joins with a man’s sperm. Fertilization usually takes place in a fallopian tube that links an ovary to the uterus. If the fertilized egg successfully travels down the fallopian tube and implants in the uterus, an embryo starts growing.
