What is the main cause of malaria?
Malaria is caused by the Plasmodium parasite. The parasite can be spread to humans through the bites of infected mosquitoes.

It is available in tablets, capsules, and an oral liquid formulation. Two equally effective types of doxycycline are available, doxycycline hyclate and doxycycline monohydrate.
