What is angina pectoris caused by?

What causes angina pectoris? Angina pectoris occurs when your heart muscle (myocardium) does not get enough blood and oxygen for a given level of work. Insufficient blood supply is called ischemia.

What is the difference between angina pectoris and heart attack?

Angina (also called angina pectoris) is defined as: “a condition marked by severe pain in the chest, often also spreading to the shoulders, arms, and neck, owing to an inadequate blood supply to the heart.” A heart attack occurs when this same process lasts long enough to cause permanent damage to the heart muscle.

Is angina pectoris life threatening?

Angina is chest pain caused by reduced blood flow to the heart muscles. It’s not usually life threatening, but it’s a warning sign that you could be at risk of a heart attack or stroke. What kills ringworm in the body?

Over-the-counter antifungals can kill the fungus and promote healing. Effective medications include miconazole (Cruex), clotrimazole (Desenex) and terbinafine (Lamisil). After cleaning the rash, apply a thin layer of antifungal medication to the affected area 2 to 3 times per day or as directed by the package.

Can ringworm spread all over the body?

Ringworm is a highly contagious fungal skin infection. It can occur anywhere on the body but is particularly common in the groin area and on the feet. A person can use medicated ointments and creams to treat ringworm topically. For more severe infections, a person may need to take oral antifungal medications.

Widal test:

Widal test: The Widal test measures the capacity of antibodies against LPS and flagella in the serum of individuals with suspected typhoid fever to agglutinate cells of S. Typhi; the test was introduced over a century ago and it is still widely used. It is simple, inexpensive, and takes only a few minutes.

Is Widal test positive means typhoid?

Widal test positive values indicate that the person has the Salmonella enterica serovar typhi bacterial infection. In the typhoid report positive, both O and H antigen titres are present. S typhi O positive means active infection of typhoid fever.

Breast cancer: Sign & Symptoms

Breast cancer: A cancer that forms in the cells of the breasts.

What are the starting symptoms of breast cancer?

Thickening or swelling of part of the breast.
Irritation or dimpling of breast skin.
Redness or flaky skin in the nipple area or the breast.

New lump in the breast or underarm (armpit).

Where is breast cancer usually located?

In women, breast cancer lumps are usually found in the upper outer quadrant of the breast. In men, they’re usually found near the nipple. Regardless of gender, breast cancer can start anywhere there’s breast tissue, from the breastbone to the armpit to the collarbone.

Treponema pallidum:

Treponema pallidum,Treponema pallidum is a spirochaete bacterium with various subspecies that cause the diseases syphilis, bejel (also known as endemic syphilis), and yaws. It is transmitted only amongst humans. It is a helically coiled microorganism usually 6–15 μm long and 0.1–0.2 μm wide.

Byssinosis:

Byssinosis is a disease of the lungs. It is caused by breathing in cotton dust or dusts from other vegetable fibers such as flax, hemp, or sisal while at work.
